Zinser News
One thing that makes Zinser such a great school is the amazing parents and family members who partner with our staff each year. Thank you for showing up for conferences and for providing meals for teachers who stay late to meet with you. Thank you for raising money for our school by shopping at the Scholastic Book Fair and participating in the annual Family Council fundraiser. We also appreciate your patience and understanding when parking lots get crowded or when new safety rules are added. Your continued support means so much—it helps make Zinser a wonderful place for everyone!
Halloween Fun & Safety at Zinser
Halloween is always a fun day at Zinser, and we want to keep it safe for everyone!
Volunteers: Only those signed up with approved background checks may enter the building.
Costumes: Students may bring costumes, but please avoid weapons, blood, or anything too scary for younger students.
Parade: Starts at 3:00 PM at the back of the building along the playground. Look for cones marking the route. If it rains, the parade moves to the gym (indoor attendance only for approved volunteers).
Parking: Limited; extra spaces available across the street at the Vine.
Signing Out: After the parade, sign out your child in the office unless prior arrangements have been made with their teacher. They will have sign out sheets in the classrooms, too. Only parents with approved badges may enter. Thank you for helping make Halloween at Zinser safe and fun for all! Don’t forget to take your pumpkin home with you at the end of the day if you participated in the decorating contest!

Positive Teacher/Staff Referrals
At Zinser we promote kindness and appreciation as we CARE for each other. Parents, we want YOU to recognize teachers and staff for the amazing job they are doing. Please send me your message by email bjohnston@khps.org so I can visit the classroom and share your kind words of appreciation with the deserving staff member.

TRANSPORTATION BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CAREOur Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
