The District Parent Advisory Team (DPAT) at Kenowa Hills Public Schools is a collaborative group of nominated parents, district administrators, and staff representatives that gathers regularly to exchange ideas.
Mission: To gain parent insight into student and family experience and bridge communication between parents and KHPS leadership for the betterment of all KHPS students and families.
Goals:
Elevate parent voice and build ambassadors so that parents can share
Provide parents with a direct communication pipeline to KHPS administration
Share news and events from school to school and family to family
Address problems, concerns, and issues early
Increase student and family retention by partnering, family and school, to have constant, open dialog in an effort of continuous improvement
