Adventure Point Summer 2026 Day Camp
We know adventure doesn’t always mean going far — sometimes it’s about discovering an incredible place you never knew existed, right in your own backyard. That’s the magic of Adventure Point – Grand Rapids, Summer Day Camp.
We provide more than just childcare — we deliver a true summer camp experience. Our campers spend their days exploring and creating lasting memories in a fun, safe, and engaging environment most visitors say “I never knew this existed”.

The City of Walker will host its first Safety Town program this summer, giving young residents the chance to learn practical safety skills through hands-on activities with local first responders.
Registration is now open, with space limited to 20 participants in the inaugural session.
Safety Town is designed for children between kindergarten and 3rd grade and introduces them to everyday safety topics such as pedestrian awareness, bike safety, fire prevention, and basic first aid. The program uses an interactive “mini city” environment where children practice real-world situations like crossing streets, recognizing traffic signs, and responding to emergencies.
The four half-day program is planned for June 22-25 at Zinser Elementary and will run in morning sessions from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., giving children repeated opportunities to practice safety skills while building confidence and independence. Learn more and register online.

First Tee West Michigan - Golf this Spring & Summer for FREE!
First Tee's life-skills education program is designed for new and beginning golfers of all ages and skill levels, with classes meeting six times for 90 minutes each class. Our trained coaches empower and inspire kids and teens through golf while also sharing how to manage emotions, set goals, and resolve conflicts. Volunteers
If you would like to volunteer or visit the school during school hours (this includes reading with students, helping teachers, attending a classroom party, watching a class play production and so forth), you must complete a background check for the new school year.
Background checks must be completed in person at any KH front office. Please bring a state-issued photo ID.

• You must request to volunteer through your child’s teacher - he or she will add your name to an approved volunteer list in the main office.
• All volunteers must enter through the main office and must sign in.
• You will receive a volunteer pass that must be worn and visible at all times while in the building.

Drop-off & Pick-up Reminders
