Dear Kenowa Hills Middle School Families,
We had a wonderful first week back to school! Thank you for helping make the transition smooth for our students.
Here are a few important updates:
i-Ready Testing: Next week, students will be completing i-Ready testing. Please ensure your student brings a fully charged Chromebook to school each day.
Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up: We are using two lanes for both drop-off and pick-up. Please review the newsletter for details and be respectful of others during these busy times.
Lockers: With lockers being new for all students this year, we are proud of how quickly they’re adjusting. Encourage your student to plan out their schedule so they can move efficiently and arrive to class on time.
Middle School Parent Group: Our Parent Group has been doing a fantastic job supporting staff and students, and there are several opportunities to get involved!
Next Meeting: Thursday, September 18, from 5:30–6:30 PM at the Middle School. All are welcome!
Thank you for your continued partnership in making Kenowa Hills Middle School such a great place for our students.
Sincerely,
Mr. Dodge
Principal, Kenowa Hills Middle School

Dear Kenowa Hills Middle School Families,
After an incredible Open House this past week, our staff is excited to officially welcome students back to school on Monday!
With our new start time of 7:40 a.m., parent drop-off will now begin at 7:20 a.m. (see the map in the newsletter). Students will enter through the cafeteria doors and remain there until 7:25 a.m. After that, those who have finished breakfast may go to their lockers, drop off backpacks and phones, and then head to class.
To help keep traffic flowing smoothly and ensure everyone’s safety, please remember to use the designated parent drop-off route. The front staff parking lot is not a drop-off area—thank you for following the directions on the map and helping us keep arrival safe and efficient for all.
Please also take a few minutes to review the newsletter for important policy reminders and updates to our Student Handbook. Starting the year on the right foot helps set the tone for success, and we appreciate your partnership in making that happen.
If you haven’t already, be sure to follow Kenowa Hills Middle School on Facebook—it’s a great way to stay connected and informed throughout the year.
