Dear Kenowa Hills Middle School Families,
As we wrap up a wonderful 2025, we want to thank our school community for an incredible year. We’re excited for all that 2026 will bring and hope your break is filled with rest, joy, and time with family and friends.
Today, our middle school students participated in Enrichment Day, a special opportunity to build community, problem-solve, express creativity, and, most importantly, have fun. A huge thank you to Mrs. Haines for organizing this incredible experience, as well as to Student Council and all of our staff who helped plan activities and support the assembly at the end of the day. Your time and dedication made today a truly memorable experience for our students.
When we return to school in January, students will complete their i-Ready Mid-Year Assessments (Tuesday–Friday). These assessments help us better understand how to support each student and determine their individualized myPath on the i-Ready platform. Please help us by ensuring students bring a fully charged Chromebook each day, get a good night’s sleep, and arrive at school on time. Thank you for your continued support.
We wish you a joyful holiday season and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year.
As always—Go Knights!
Mr. Dodge
Principal, Kenowa Hills Middle School

Dear Kenowa Hills Middle School Families,
Dear Kenowa Hills Middle School Families,
We had a fantastic week at KHMS! Our Holiday Band and Orchestra Concert was a wonderful showcase of student talent. This morning, our Student Council delivered 818 toys to WZZM for Toys for Tots, and yesterday they traveled to Greenville to collaborate with other middle school councils in our RCA Conference. We are so proud of their leadership and service.
Parking & Crosswalk Safety
Thank you to everyone following our parking lot procedures. We still have a few families dropping students off in the front lot or not using both lanes in the South Lot as intended. Please review the guidelines in this newsletter. Staff will continue to assist during arrival and dismissal to keep everyone safe.

Dear Kenowa Hills Middle School Families,
I hope you all had a restful Thanksgiving Break. As we return, we have a full couple of weeks ahead before the next holiday break, and we’re excited to build some fun and connection through our upcoming spirit days.
Parking & Crosswalk Safety
Please use the South Lot for drop-off and pick-up, as increased traffic in the front lot has caused congestion. If you are using the quick drop-off lane, be sure students are ready to exit immediately. Ongoing construction has required adjustments to our crosswalk locations, and with darker mornings and winter weather approaching, it is essential that students use the designated crosswalks and follow staff directions. Please drive slowly, stay alert, and avoid distractions while on campus.
Quick Reminders
• Charge Chromebooks daily
• On-time, daily attendance matters
• Cell phones remain in lockers
• 30 minutes/week of i-Ready Math and 30 minutes/week of i-Ready Reading
Thank you, as always, for your continued support in making Kenowa Hills Middle School a great place for our students.

Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers.
