Happy February, Central Family!
Thank you so much for all of the "Welcome Backs!" As hard as it is to leave my little one, I truly love my job and seeing your children's smiling faces daily. The hours are long, but the students at Central are so, so worth it! I appreciate giving me some time to settle back in, but before you know it, it will be time to celebrate summer! The end of the year is hurtling towards us at a rapid pace, and we've even scheduled next year's Open Houses already!!
With summer and hopefully warmer temperatures on the horizon, this flu/cold bug that everyone seems to have needs to go. Normally, I really stress that we want fewer than 5 absences, but in the light of all of the illnesses going around, we are allowing a few more, for the many students who have been sick this year. If you do have any serious concerns about attendance and truancy, please communicate with the school sooner rather than later. It is of my most detested things as a principal to work on truancy, so I would rather you avoid it; however, I do so appreciate the parents that are keeping their sick kids home.
Well, there's no easy transition after talking about barf and runny noses, so I will just leave it at that and say, "I can't wait to see you at conferences!"
There are some important dates below that you need to read. There WILL be a test. (Just kidding. It will be on Facebook). ;)
Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.PERSONAL MASTERY SPECIAL EDUCATION ENGLISH LEARNERS TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM
