Hello Zinser Parents and Community, I am writing to introduce myself as your new principal. My name is Michael Ghareeb and this is my second year with the Kenowa Hills Public Schools. Last year I served as the Director of Special Services, as well as the Director of all Early Childhood Programming. This year I am excited to also take on the role of Principal at Zinser Elementary. |

Math Expressions Math Expressions is a comprehensive mathematics curriculum for Kindergarten through Grade 5 that offers new ways to teach and learn mathematics. Combining the most powerful elements of standards-based instruction with the best of traditional approaches, Math Expressions uses objects, drawings, mathematical language, and real world situations to help students build mathematical ideas that make sense to them. Math Expressions follows the most recent recommendations for effective math instruction and aligns with our state standards as well as the Common Core State Standards. The program emphasizes understanding and problem solving as well as computational skills practice. |

These are the online services that are now available through our Food Service Point of Sale (POS) system: SendMoneyToSchool.com and LunchApp.com. SendMoneyToSchool.com enables you to view your child’s account history and food choice details at no charge. In addition, you will be able to deposit money into your child’s account using your debit/credit card. There is a nominal service fee when utilizing this electronic deposit feature. This web site is easy to use. All you need to begin using this site is your child’s student ID#. |

2010-2011 Kindergarten and Fabulous Five Schedule Thank you to all who participated in the Kindergarten/Fabulous Five Scheduling Survey! After compiling the survey results for the proposed schedule changes, the majority of respondes indicated the 2010-11 schedule preference as follows: Session A: Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday The schedule will be in effect for the 2010-2011 school year for students enrolled in KHPS Kindergarten and the Fabulous Fives program.
