With the support of the Kenowa Hills community, the Buffalo Wild Wings Benefit for Megan Heeringa was a huge success! THANK YOU to everyone who supported this event! A check from BBWs will be presented to the Heeringa family to help with medical related expenses. Together, we were able to raise just over $500.00 for the Heeringa family. Your support is appreciated!

As we approach the end of this school year we are asking for your help. We are asking you to check on the balance in your student’s food service account. We are trying to bring all of the student’s account balances to a positive amount to close out the school year and we need your help to accomplish this.

You can do this through the efund website or call any of the school’s food service departments. To access the efund website go to the KHPS website (khps.org) and click on Food Service/Menus on the site menu on the left side of the screen. There you will find a link to efunds. All you need to access your student’s account is their ID#.

It is our pleasure to supply your children with delicious, healthy meals daily.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of interviews with American workers, Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the parking lot attendant, the waitress, the millworker, the mason, the trucker, the fireman, the housewife, just to name a few. It’s a highly original look at the American landscape that’s simply impossible to forget.

"On September 19th, Zinser hosted a Watch DOGS kickoff event in the gymnasium. Watch D.O.G.S stands for Dads of Great Students, but it doesn't stop with dads. Any significant male in a students' life is welcome to be involved in this program, which is designed to get dads (or other males) to volunteer and help around the school. Research shows having an involved positive male role model helps boost the confidence, self-esteem, behavior, and academic achievement of students. Please consider supporting this dynamic program by getting a significant male to commit to volunteering at least one (1) day this school year!

All proceeds will go directly to the Foundation to enhance the educational opportunities of our students.
