Kindergarten
Children who are five years old before November 1 may enroll for the
following school year. Kindergarten children have many new experiences
and learn many new skills. At Kenowa Hills, our Kindergarten curriculum
is based on addressing the needs of the “whole” child. The areas of
intellectual, social, emotional, physical and psychomotor are all focused
on the activities and goals for the student in our rooms. Each child
enrolling in Kindergarten is at a different state of development in each
of these areas. Our focus in Kindergarten is to find a child’s abilities in
each area and help them grow and learn from there.
