 The Autism Society of Kent County is hosting a Gala Fund-Raiser and Silent Auction on Nov. 15th called "Unmasking the Faces of Autism" and has asked that students create a mask for the event. Monetary awards will be given to the maker of the best mask, and to the teacher as well. The students of Mrs. Martinez’s class under the guidance of Alpine Elementary’s talented art teacher, Mrs. Vanderhart, created the wonderful masks pictured here for the event. We are very proud of our students and hope that the masks will benefit The Autism Society. We are also very excited to see if any of their masks will be chosen as the best!
