Brain Based Learning

Alpine Elementary has a school wide focus on brain based research and learning. All staff members have been trained in how the brain works and what crucial elements are needed to allow the brain to work at full potential. Furthermore, all staff members have been trained in how to apply this knowledge of the brain to how children learn best. Teachers at Alpine Elementary focus on student learning by utilizing best practices daily.

Classroom environments are built that eliminate distractions and provide for a safe and non-threatening learning environment. In addition, daily routines and procedures are established to provide the consistency that all children need. Lastly, individual learning styles are accounted for so that all students can experience success in various concepts.
