These are the online services that are now available through our Food Service Point of Sale (POS) system: SendMoneyToSchool.com and LunchApp.com.

SendMoneyToSchool.com enables you to view your child’s account history and food choice details at no charge. In addition, you will be able to deposit money into your child’s account using your debit/credit card. There is a nominal service fee when utilizing this electronic deposit feature. This web site is easy to use. All you need to begin using this site is your child’s student ID#.

2010-2011 Kindergarten and Fabulous Five Schedule

Thank you to all who participated in the Kindergarten/Fabulous Five Scheduling Survey! After compiling the survey results for the proposed schedule changes, the majority of respondes indicated the 2010-11 schedule preference as follows:

Session A: Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday
Session B: Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday

The schedule will be in effect for the 2010-2011 school year for students enrolled in KHPS Kindergarten and the Fabulous Fives program. Please see the attached calendar with specific dates for each session. If you have any questions, please contact the KHPS Curriculum Office at 784-0700.

Second graders recently visited Ludwick's Donuts to make real world
connections about concepts they're learning about in economics. They
enjoyed a complete tour of the facility and were able to witness
production in progress. The end of the tour was a big hit for
everyone: FREE DONUTS! We are grateful to the Ludwick's Donuts
owners and employees for their generosity in allowing us to visit and
sample their delicious product.

Blandford Nature Center is home to a fascinating ecosystem, as Marne's
fourth graders found out recently. The students spent the afternoon
investigating the surroundings, including the underside of a rotting
log, to find a variety of interesting creatures. It was a great hands-
on learning experience that was used to kick-off a new science unit
for these eager ecologists!
