Students at the middle school level can often test the limits in order to learn what is acceptable dress. Help your child by following these simple guidelines. 1. Clothing should cover the student. All students have the right to learn without distraction. Students are not allowed to “sag” or show underwear. Girls need to make sure that their top covers cleavage. Short shouts and short skirts are unacceptable. 2. Clothing should be safe. Chains are not allowed. 3. No PJ bottoms or spaghetti straps. 4. Clothing with references to drugs, alcohol or violence are not acceptable. |
