SendMoneyToSchool.com enables you to view your child’s account history and food choice details at no charge. In addition, you will be able to deposit money into your child’s account using your debit/credit card. There is a nominal service fee when utilizing this electronic deposit feature. This web site is easy to use. All you need to begin using this site is your child’s student ID#.

Mrs. Monroe and Mrs. Offer’s team is completing their journey through the Human Body. Students have explored the different systems of the body such as the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, excretory, and nervous systems. In the picture, students are wearing their Brain Hats. While building their hats, students discovered that the brain is the control center for their bodies! In addition, students also completed other experiments such as “Can You Taste It?” where they used their five senses to predict the flavor of jellybeans. The students are doing an amazing job in their learning community.

The first round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee was held at KHIS
on Wednesday, January 13th. Thirty-nine fifth and sixth grade
students, who were winners of their classroom spelling bees, competed in
the school spelling bee. Pictured are sixth grader Rachel Klap and
fifth grader Jose Lozano, winner and runner-up of the spelling bee.
Great job to all students who competed. Both Rachel and Jose will move
on to the Regional spelling bee at Cedar Springs in February.
