With the support of the Kenowa Hills community, the Buffalo Wild Wings Benefit for Megan Heeringa was a huge success! THANK YOU to everyone who supported this event! A check from BBWs will be presented to the Heeringa family to help with medical related expenses. Together, we were able to raise just over $500.00 for the Heeringa family. Your support is appreciated!

As we approach the end of this school year we are asking for your help. We are asking you to check on the balance in your student’s food service account. We are trying to bring all of the student’s account balances to a positive amount to close out the school year and we need your help to accomplish this.

You can do this through the efund website or call any of the school’s food service departments. To access the efund website go to the KHPS website (khps.org) and click on Food Service/Menus on the site menu on the left side of the screen. There you will find a link to efunds. All you need to access your student’s account is their ID#.

It is our pleasure to supply your children with delicious, healthy meals daily.

Thank you for your cooperation.

In the Kenowa Hills Performing Arts Center

Based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of interviews with American workers, Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the parking lot attendant, the waitress, the millworker, the mason, the trucker, the fireman, the housewife, just to name a few. It’s a highly original look at the American landscape that’s simply impossible to forget.

KHEF.jpg

Did you know that dedicated residents take time out of their busy schedules to directly impact our students? Members of the Kenowa Hills Education Foundation (KHEF) raise and distribute monies to teachers who promote education by creating new innovative instructional improvements - improvements over and above standard curriculum requirements.

The KHEF is seeking additional members who have a heart for excellence in education. The time commitment is approximately one hour each month, plus limited time at functions. If you or someone you know has a passion for enhancing the educational opportunities of our students, please contact Lisa Hallock at bhallock@yahoo.com
