Central Elementary Fifth-Grade Team

Kenowa Hills supplies the materials students need, but many students like to have their own school supplies. Here are some of the things we will be using in our classroom if your child prefers to have his/her own items. (It’s a good idea to label personal items with your child’s name.)

For Personal Use:

Trapper Keeper
(one with accordion files is highly recommended)
1 spiral-bound notebook (1-subject)
small pencil box/pouch (approx. 8” x 4”)
colored pencils
set of markers
yellow highlighter
crayons
fine-tip black marker
small pencil sharpener to use at desk

For Classroom Use:

Kleenex
1 box zip-loc baggies (small and/or large)
glue sticks
loose-leaf notebook paper

To our third grade students,

We wanted to welcome each of you to third grade! We hope you have had a terrific
summer and feel ready to come back to school.

Often students and parents have questions about school supplies. Kenowa Hills
provides the materials students need, but many students like to have their own
supplies at their desk or work area. Here are suggested school supplies for third
grade:

•A pack of #2 pencils
•Large eraser
•Fine tipped markers
•Large glue sticks
•Colored pencils
•Crayons
•Student scissors
•Small pencil sharpener
•Pencil box
•Six 2-pocket folders
•Box of kleenex

Please remember to put your name on your school supplies. No trapper keepers
