Pre-District Division I Baseball and Softball will be played on Tuesday, May 28, at Mona Shores; Kenowa Hills has a bye on May 28 and will resume play on Saturday, June 1, at Kenowa Hills. Softball will start at 10:00 a.m. and Baseball will also start at 10:00 a.m. (Note time change) Championship games will be played at 2:00 p.m. A bracket is attached for reference. » |

Please join us to support a fundraiser for your Athletic & Band Boosters on Saturday May 11, 2013. Join us in the Middle School Parking Lot between 9am-3pm and test drive a Ford vehicle (no appointment necessary). For every person that test drives a vehicle, Keller Ford will give the Boosters $20.00. Only one person per household and they must be at least 18 years of age. Congratulations go out to Ronni Mercier for signing her Letter of National Intent to The University of Tampa. Ronni will be running cross country and track and field for the Spartans next year. At the University of Tampa, Ronni Mercier will be studying Business. While at Kenowa Hills, Ronni Mercier has played multiple sports and helped the cross country team to its second straight cross country championship. |

Congratulations go out to Jeff Bajema for signing his Letter of National Intent to Illinois State University. Jeff will be running cross country and track and field for the red birds next year. At Illinois State University, Jeff will be studying Business or Physical Therapy. While at Kenowa Hills, Jeff Bajema has earned 8 All-Conference awards, and has been on 7 Conference Championship teams. Jeff has also earned multiple All-State recognitions. |

On Tuesday, June 4th, 2013, Dr. Ed Kornoelje from Metro Health Sports Medicine in Grand Rapids will be at Kenowa Hills High School from 5:30PM- 7:30PM to conduct sports physicals for next school year’s 7th to 12th graders, who are interested in playing sports. Physicals will cost $20 each and checks can be made payable to KHPS. If your student wears glasses please remember to bring them for the eye exam portion of the physical. |

Mackenzie Allan, four year Varsity athlete, signed a National Letter of Intent to play intercollegiate softball on February 3rd, surrounded by teammates, family and coaches, Mack committed to continue her impressive softball career while studying at Grand Rapids Community College next fall. We are proud and excited to watch Mack’s educational and athletic careers unfold over the next few years. |

Fall has passed us by, winter is upon us, and some local sports teams have started their regimented practice sessions and competitions as celebrities...Chocolate Milk Mustache Celebrities! Grand Rapids' Kenowa Hills team has been named one of United Dairy Industry of Michigan's (UDIM) Chocolate Milk: Nature's Sports Drink grant recipients, which emphasizes good nutrition. |

The Board of Education recently approved an increase in the Athletic Participation Fees. The new rates, beginning this fall, will be $85 per high school student, and $70 per middle school student. The third season is still free. |
