A check from BBWs will be presented to the Heeringa family to help with medical related expenses. Together, we were able to raise just over $500.00 for the Heeringa family. As we approach the end of this school year we are asking for your help. We are asking you to check on the balance in your student’s food service account. We are trying to bring all of the student’s account balances to a positive amount to close out the school year and we need your help to accomplish this.

You can do this through the efund website or call any of the school’s food service departments. To access the efund website go to the KHPS website (khps.org) and click on Food Service/Menus on the site menu on the left side of the screen. There you will find a link to efunds. All you need to access your student’s account is their ID#.

It is our pleasure to supply your children with delicious, healthy meals daily.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of interviews with American workers, Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the parking lot attendant, the waitress, the millworker, the mason, the trucker, the fireman, the housewife, just to name a few. It’s a highly original look at the American landscape that’s simply impossible to forget.

Dear Alpine Elementary Parents/Guardians,

As a school we are focused on continuous improvement and it is important to our staff that we gather feedback from parents on the educational experience students are receiving. In order to provide parents with an opportunity to provide valuable feedback for us to utilize in our school improvement planning, we are asking parents to complete the survey below. Please take a moment to complete this survey by typing this link into your web browser:

We will be gathering input throughout the month of February. In order for your input to be analyzed, please complete by February 25. Thank you in advance for your participation.

The annual Alpine Elementary School Carnival was held on Friday, January 25th. It was a very fun night for families! A huge thank you goes out to all of our volunteers who set up, worked in the kitchen, sold tickets, ran games, and cleaned up. The Carnival would not be possible without the help of many hands. Thank you also to all of the families who braved the weather to come out and enjoy a night of fun with the Alpine community.
